Peran Modal Sosial Dalam Mewujudkan Good Local Governance

Abstract

Global local governanance constituties prime mission of government system reformation in local level. To realize it, there are some factors that influence the level of its sucsess. The most important factor is mutual trust trait among local stakeholders, that is local government, private sector, and local society, in cooperating, participacing, andnetworking in locaal develpment, public service delivery and public policy process. It so happens mutual trust trait had constitutes principle factor of social capital. In indonesian local condition mutual trust trait had experienced deficit among local stakeholders. This shows that social capital did not use wisely for optimum achievement. Without building and developing social capital, good local governance can not be realize effectivity.
